Neral: Thirty villages in Kadav region of Karjat taluka are under load shedding for last two months leaving villagers furious. The rage may outburst as Electricity Board is not noticing the issue. When agitated consumes in these villages reached Board office to ask to resolve this situation, Branch Engineer Salavi refused to pay any attention to the consumers.
Rural and tribal areas of Karjat are suffering through load shedding which is taking place since many years but now Electricity Board has levied it on Kadav area as well. The load shedding is imposed on the villages under Warai, Sawele and Wavloli gram panchayat for last two months. When Deputy Sarpanch of Warai Gram Panchyat Deepak Dhule questioned the Board, he was answered by Sub-Engineer G P Gulhane that the load shedding will last for few days only but it continued becoming cause of villager’s rage.
When some consumer villagers Chander Modak, Dnyaneshwar Modak, Naresh Dhule, Sharad Gurav and Jagdish Modak reached Karjat Electricity Board’s office along with Deputy Sarpanch Deepak Dhule, they were given unsatisfactory answers by Branch Engineer S S Salavi. Villagers are highly disappointed with Board’s conduct.
