Advanced Trauma Care Centre soon in Kankavali
The government has made available an advanced Trauma Care Centre in the Sub-district Hospital at Kankavali as a result of Industrial Minister Narayan Rane’s constant efforts
Kankavali: The government has made available an advanced Trauma Care Centre in the Sub-district Hospital at Kankavali as a result of Industrial Minister Narayan Rane’s constant efforts. The work for establishment of this centre is undergoing with the funds of Rs 50 lakh given by the government. Those injured in accidents will get prompt treatment in this centre.
Currently, installation work of advanced systems and operation theatre is undergoing in this hospital.
This centre will be beneficial to treat injures in the accidents that takes place on Mumbai-Goa highway. Kankavali is a centralized place and a Sub-district Hospital holds require place for this centre; hence Rane made necessary arrangements for it. An individual hospital will be running in an old building of Sub-district hospital with 10 cots, operation theatre and a system for primary treatments, doctors and nurses. Computerized system will be installed soon in this centre.
This centre will be a boon to those patients who are severely injured in accident and have threat to their life while transferring from district hospitals to urban hospitals for further treatment. This trauma centre particularly targets the accidents that take place on Mumbai-Goa highway.
