‘Avengers’ composer Brian Tyler writes US Open golf theme
Los Angeles: Composer Brian Tyler, who scored music for hit movies like “Furious 7″ and “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, has created a musical theme for the upcoming 115th US Open golf tournament, which will take place in Washington.
Conducting a 90-piece orchestra, Tyler, 37, created a four-movement theme that runs six minutes, 30 seconds, but will be edited down into shorter pieces used throughout the golf broadcasts, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The theme will debut during The US Open Preview Show, airing June 17 on Fox Sports.
“Brian is one of Hollywood’s hottest composers and we were honored that he chose the US Open on Fox theme as his next big project,” said George Greenberg, Fox Sports executive Vice President of content integration and presentation.
