Ayushmann turns Marathi scientist
The actor is learning Marathi for the biopic on Shivkar Talpade
Mumbai : “Vicky Donor” fame Ayushmann Khurrana is all excited to essay the role of an eminent Maharashtrian scientist Shivkar Talpade. The 29 years old actor is currently learning Marathi for the untitled biopic.
According to sources, Talpade is believed to have constructed and flown India’s first unmanned airplane much before the Wright brothers. “I am doing a biopic and it’s always interesting to be a part of such films. I always wanted to do a biopic. I am happy that I am doing a good mix of films at such an early stage of my career,” Khurrana told PTI.
He further said, “Our scriptwriter is a Marathi and he gives me tips to learn Marathi as it is really a difficult task for a Punjabi,” Khurrana told PTI. The biopic, produced by Guneet Monga and directed by debutante filmmaker Vibhu Puri, will go on floor early next year.
