Co-operation at all level for women empowerment in Sindhudurg: Rane

Kudal: Industries Minister Narayan Rane addressed the Sindhudurg district women Congress’ rally and said that women of Sindhudurg can do better with confidence and co-operation at all levels would be provided for women empowerment. He also said that Congress has been developing the nation at all stages from 52 years and the party has always respected and felicitated women.
The Congress women’s gathering was held at Late Priyadarshini Gandhi auditorium where women turned up in huge numbers. Rane said, “Congress party and party chief Sonia Gandhi has taken innovative decisions like providing 50% reservation for women and empowerment of all by creating equal opportunities at all levels and schemes like Food Security Scheme in which poor families will be provided the food grain at the minimum rate of Rs 1 and Rs 2. Soon the food grain supply will be started,” he said.
Rane said that those who ask what Congress has done for the country soon they would get their answer. He further added that he has taken this as a responsibility to make the district and its people strong and financially stable to bring happy moments in their lives. Rane asked the all women audience to support continuously and keep faith in him to bring out the change for better.
Sindhudurg Shikshan Prasarak Mandal chairman Nilam Rane along with Women and child development minister Varsha Gaikwad, MLA Adv. Yashomati Thakur, Women Congress chief Kamal Vyavahare and MLA Praniti Shinde were felicitated during the program.
Rane further said, “When I had become and MLA for the first time, it could take 18 hours to reach Mumbai. Now it takes eight hours. Per capita income has increased and Sindhudurg is at 5th position in the economically strong districts in the state.”
Rane pointed out that the quality of education is improved in Sindhudurg district and variety of education that includes English medium schools to Engineering and medical colleges were available for the children and youth of the district. He asked Shivsena whether they ever started a kinder garten in the district.
Narayan Rane who is also the district chief said that those who are talking about the in person talks first perform the public service. He challenged all the opposition including Udhhav Thackeray to come on the same dais to discuss the issue of development. He said that if he became unanswered, he would leave the politics.
