Commotion at Tuljabhavani Temple, 1 dead
A devotee dead in Tuljabhavani Temple on the very first day of Navratri
Osmanabad: On the very first day of Navratri, commotion in Tuljabhavani temple here caused death to a devotee Haridas Dinu Kapale (60). Around 19 more devotees are injured out of which 10 are in critical condition and admitted to Government hospital in Solapur. Kapale had come to visit temple from Maalshisar Taluka in Solapur district.
On the first day of Navratri, early morning on Saturday tremendous crowd of devotees gathered at the temple to have a glimpse of Godess Tuljabhavani. Police decided to close the entrance forsome time to control the crowd. Some devotees protested against it and tried to enter the temple. Police had to do the Latthicharge at Raje Shahaji Mahadwar to handle this aggressive crowd. Haridas Kapale lost his life during this chaos and commotion.
