mandangadhMandangadh: Congress, which follows progressive thoughts of Phule-Shahu-Ambedkar, will never let sustain the dividing views of RSS, Manikrao Thakre, President of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee and MLA, said here.

He was speaking at the inauguration of Ratnagiri Vachanpurti Janjagaran Yatra. He said that upcoming elections will be between the views of Congress and RSS.

He further said, Congress has always strived, during pre-independence and post-independence too, to resolve the issues faced by public. Hence, numerous schemes are introduced during these 65 years to cast away general public’s problems. The Central and State government has planned and successfully executed many schemes for people including farmers, workers, women, dalits, minorities, other backwards, tribal and handicapped. He appealed that the Congress workers must spread awareness about these schemes in general people through this event.

While criticizing BJP he said, BJP was never part of freedom fight and even after getting into the picture, they never thought about the welfare of people.

Congress’s progressive approach has made India walk towards being ‘Superpower’ along with China and America. The development brought by the Central and State government resulted in increased number of seats achieved by Congress in last two elections and it will be on a number one position during upcoming elections as well. He also appealed to spread the ward of progress brought by Congress to fight out all the allegations and defamations being carried out by opposition.

The event was also attended by Narayan Rane, the minster of industries; Hussain Dalwai, Member of Parliament; Bhai Jagtap, MLA; Husnabanu Khalpe, Secretary of the State; Shivajirao Nilkanth; Shyam Sawant, Former MLA; Chandrakant Mokal; Harish Rogye, Spokesperson; Manoj Shinde; Ramesh Kir, District President and Nathuram Dhadve, Deputy President of District.

Hussain Dalwai, Bhai Jagtap and Ramesh Kir also addressed the audience.
