Disdain roads in the rural area get lightened!
Youth leader Nitesh Rane is installing solar lamps on these earlier unnoticed roads with bearing the charges only for enlightening the roads of these villages
Malvan: As the government funds had constraints, the roads in rural area remain in darkness during the nights. In a noble initiative, Youth leader Nitesh Rane has decided to make these roads lightened for better commutation during the night to the villagers in these areas.
Rane is installing solar lamps on these earlier unnoticed roads with bearing the charges only for enlightening the roads of these villages. In the first phase of this decision, three solar lamps were installed at three villagers namely Devli kalethar, Tondvali and Vayangani in Malvan taluka.
Under the campaign called ‘Jethe Gaav Tethe Me’ (I am there where there is a village), Youth leader Nitesh Rane is personally visiting the villages and understanding peoples’ concerns. The visits are turning fruitful as he is taking the immediate decisions to solve the problems through all his capacities.
During his village visits, Rane came to know about the absence of road lamps in some villages. At many places the road lamps have been installed through government funds. But because of the government funds’ constraints some places did not get the road lamps. Getting this fact, Rane paid the amount through his own pocket and fixed the road lamps for the villagers.
The ultra modern solar lamps are equipped with unique batteries fixed upon it. Thus the fear of stealing the battery has reduced. In the first phase of his campaign, 30 such solar lamps are to be fixed at Devali Kalethar, Tondavali and Vayangani villages. Meanwhile, 15 such road lamps were fixed at Devali Kalethar on last Sunday.
Devali village Sarpanch Vijay Chavan along with other members of the Gram Panchayat were present when the lamps were installed.
