Extend winter session with two more weeks: All party opposition demands
Opposition members showed their availability to work on Saturdays and Sundays
Mumbai: All opposition parties demanded to take the winter assembly session for four weeks. But it was clarified from the government that it has a pre set program for the session and the session would be taken for two weeks. The winter session is starting from 9th December and will conclude on 21st December at Nagpur.
The working and consulting committee had a meeting on Wednesday at Vidhan Bhavan. Opposition parties namely BJP, Sivsena and MNS collectively demanded to extend the assembly session. The opposition party members said that the duration of two months would not be enough to discuss and solve the issues in Vidarbha. They said that the two weeks would pass only in governmental and nongovernmental legislatures.
The opposition members also showed their availability to work on Saturdays and Sundays during the session.
