Federal Bank appoints Ganesh Sankaran as executive director
Mumbai: Private lender Federal Bank has appointed Ganesh Sankaran as the executive director in-charge of its wholesale banking segment.
Sankaran, with banking experience of 20 years, would take charge in his new role from tomorrow, Federal Bank said in a statement.
“He has top quality exposure in building corporate relationships and providing strategic direction for managing credit risk across diverse verticals,” the bank said.
Previously, Sankaran has been part of senior management at HDFC Bank.
TCS top firm on IDC Financial Insights FinTech Rankings list
IT services major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) today said it has been recognised as the leading global financial technology provider in the 2015 IDC Financial Insights FinTech Rankings Top 100.
TCS moved into the top position after being ranked second since 2012. It has maintained top-ten ranking for the past eight years.
The company’s banking, financial services and insurance services (BFSI) business represented 40 per cent of its overall revenue in the last fiscal.
