This college is an appreciable and valuable project having comprehensive educational curriculum which also includes fruit production and process industry. This education will direct the future of Konkan. Developed countries in this world have already shown what development is and how it can be achieved. Therefore, countries like America could become self-sufficient even with 2 per cent farming in comparison to the world just on the basis of modernization and technology.
This college offers extensive education for increasing and sustaining agricultural production. The college started so that you can become a complete agro industrialist instead of running behind jobs after courses, the Minister of Industries said. This college aims to develop your industrial skills. Nothing is less on this land apart from the mentality of few people. This district has every knowledge available. Agricultural knowledge has not yet reached many people, this needs to happen, Rane said. He also emphasized on the importance of giving lands to the government’s projects. He also said that, the nation cannot be self-sufficient without industries and there is no other way than education. I am taking all possible efforts to create industrialists rather than employees, he added.
