Fire-brigade facility to be inaugurated in Kudal
Narayan Rane will be inaugurating the fire brigade facility on 26th January
Kudal: Kudal city was in need of fire brigade services. The Minister of Industries, Narayan Rane understood this requirement and gave permissions to revive fire brigade department located in Kudal MIDC. He will be inaugurating the facility on 26th January.
The advanced fire brigade van will arrive in MIDC on 23rd January. All the officers and other personnel of the department have already joined their duties, informed Dhananjay Shende, Executive Engineer, MIDC.
Kudal city often has wildfires but fire brigade could be available only from Sawantwadi or Vengurle. Several times this fire turned more dangerous and destructive. Hence, villagers and traders put their demands, to revive the MIDC fire brigade for Kudal, to Rane and he immediately took action to execute it.
The amount of Rs 48 lakh was spent to repair the building which also includes compound wall, engine room etc. The advanced fire brigade van costing Rs 50 lakh will also be available at the facility. The staff included one Central level officer and other eight employees and one driver, informed Shende.
