Food Security Mission to kick start in Sindhudurg
The much awaited National Food Security Mission is starting from Thursday, 6th February at Sindhudurg Police Head quarters ground in the hands of Industry Minister Narayan Rane
Rane who is a district-in charge minister will attend the program along with Member of Parliament Dr. Nilesh Rane, Congress district head Satish Sawant informed.
National Food Security Mission is implemented by the Central government. An individual can get Rs rice and wheat at minimal rate of Rs three and Rs two under the mission.
Sawant said that the mission would reach to 6 lakh 14 thousand citizens. The mission is designed keeping the betterment of the common man in mind. He also asked all the office bearers of various institutions, Grampanchayat Sarpanchs, members, all members of Congress’ various branches to attend the program.
The district collector has also asked the citizens to attend the launching of the mission. Other dignitaries Diplaxmi Padate, MP Dr. Bhalchandra Munagekar, MLA Dipak Kesarkar, MLA Pramod Jathar, MLA Vijay Sawant, MLA Ramnath Mote, MLA Anil Tatkare, MLA Adv Niranjan Davkhare, MLA Subhash Chavan, Superintendent of Police Abhishek Trimukhe and Zilla Parishad CEO Dilip Pandharpatte will attend the program.
