Forget LS polls defeat and get ready for assembly elections
Now it is time to forget about that defeat and get ready for upcoming assembly elections”, appealed the Minister of Industries Narayan Rane
Kankavali: “I am not defeated and won’t be in future too! I might be upset but the cords attached to my people in Konkan for last 25 years are not meant to be broken. My attachment with you all supporters cannot be broken so easily. It is unbreakable. I am here to thank you all who are carrying pain of defeat in LS polls and still working with same dedication. Now it is time to forget about that defeat and get ready for upcoming assembly elections”, appealed the Minister of Industries Narayan Rane in Sindhudurg during district executive’s meeting.
He further said while addressing the gathering that, you all are part of my family so it is time to shed exhaustion and start preparations for assembly elections in full zest. Set yourself to win all three seats in Sindhudurg.
The meeting was organized at the assembly hall of Mahila Bhavan in Osargaon where former MP Dr Nilesh Rane, District President Satish Sawant, ZP President Deeplakshmi Padate, Vikas Sawant, Dr Jayendra Parulekar, Anna Kesarkar, Dr Milind Kulkarni etc were present.
I have considered issues of people in Konkan for last 25 years like my own issues. When needed, I have literally borrowed money to fulfill my workers’ demands. I have never boasted as anyone’s leader, never disrespected anyone, never put anyone into losses. I have tried to lift people up in life whenever possible, created history in this state, said Rane.
I have not only established myself as an MLA of Konkan but created a personality with my virtues such as not only ministers and secretary level officers but district level officers too respect my word and never let me down. I have supported some to become MLAs.
There is a need to feel annoyance about defeat; only then one can stand again to repay it. A system where everyone expects Rane to do everything needs to stop. We have forgotten the struggle to earn positions. We should understand the values of struggle, he said.
Many people speak against us but you never react on it, this attitude will not help. We must ask them explanation in democratic way, Rane said. While mentioning that no success can be achieved without honesty, dedication and hard work he said one has to have integrity to retain it.
He further said one or two cars used to be there at district executives’ meeting in 1990-95 but now we have so many vehicles that parking place is insufficient. We can call this success but remember this hasn’t come overnight.
While concluding he said, it not necessary to criticize CM because Baba Siddiqui has done so. He also expressed faith that Congress will witness victory in upcoming assembly elections.
