Four youth misbehave with women doctors; one held
Shirdi, Nov 17 (PTI) Four youth allegedly misbehaved with two women doctors at a hospital here following which one of the accused was today arrested, police said.
A search has been launched for three others involved in the offence, they said.
The four youth had barged into the Sainath hospital, run by the Saibaba Sansthan trust, here on the night of November 11 and passed some objectionable comments on the two women doctors currently pursuing their internship there, Shirdi police station incharge Pramod Wagh said.
The two women then rushed into the cabin of resident medical officer, who asked the youth to leave the hospital but the four allegedly abused him also, he said.
One of the victims, hailing from Virar in Mumbai, today lodged a complaint against the four youth – Akash Kailash Rajput (18), Suraj Shejval (22), Kiran Borhade (20) and Rohit Magar (20) – at Shirdi police station.
Subsequently, Akash was arrested and an offence was registered against all the four under sections 354 (A)(D) (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the IPC, he said.
Search for the other three youth was on, he added.
