I could succeed in politics with your blessings only, now its my turn to repay, Congress-NCP Lok Sabha elections candidate for Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg constituency Dr Nilesh Rane said here on Sunday
Sakharpa: I will keep striving for Konkan’s justice and development. I could succeed in politics with your blessings only, now its my turn to repay, Congress-NCP Lok Sabha elections candidate for Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg constituency Dr Nilesh Rane said here on Sunday.
He was speaking at Nanasaheb Shetye Hall in Sakharpa during visit to Sangameshwar taluka yesterday. He said that I aim to create more employment in this region. I am all yours and need your blessing to keep up the good work. Your blessings will reach me only through your votes this time. Dr Rane was felicitated by Kondgaon Zila Parishad here.
During introduction, ZP member Vilas Chalke said that this Lok Sabha election in extremely important. Dr Nilesh Rane is niece and grandson of Tiware-Medhe village, so it is our responsibility to elect him. He is not only passionate about development works but gutsy enough to go against his own party’s government to get the work done. He precisely point out and understand needs of people. Development works worth Rs 2.40 crore in Kondgaon ZP group were completed through Dr Rane only. Whenever Congress-NCP ties up for elections, they win. Dr Rane will undoubtedly win and we all are bound to elect him with highest numbers of vote, Chalke said.
Former MLA Subhash Bane said that there is a competition between all ZP groups here to give majority votes to Dr Rane. Opponents are lying and misguiding people. Dr Rane brought development in this region during his tenure as the Member of Parliament. He will win even this term; not only this but I am sure that he will become minister as well. Opponents who oppose factories in Konkan put first tender to get the contract. They will try to raise controversies during election time but you don’t become it’s victim. Elect Dr Rane with majority of votes, he appealed.
Bapu Shetye said, party workers are motivated since the President of Jijai Mahila Seva Sangh, Nilamtai Rane, herself encouraged and guided them. They are campaigning with full force now. Only Rane family take efforts for development of Konkan, so it is our duty to elect Dr Rane with majority.
During this campaign, Dr Rane’s uncle Pramod Vichare, taluka President Shankar Shetye, Prof Aaba Sawant, former ZP President Rashmitai Kadam, Panchayat Committee member Diksha Malap, Woman taluka President Gitanjali Sawant, Nana Surve along with officials of NCP and Kunabi Sena and number of party workers were present.
