The land acquisition process for proposed Sea World project in Malvan will be carried as per the new regulations
Sindhudurg: The land acquisition process for proposed Sea World project, to be situated at Tondavli-Wayangani in Malvan, will be carried as per new regulations. The District Officer E Ravindran informed that acquisition of land will be commenced soon once the new regulations are prepared, in a press conference organized on Democracy Day.
The conference was also attended by Additional District Officer Kishor Tawade, Resident dy District Officer Dnyaneshwar Kutwad and Chief Executive Officer of Zila Parishad Dilip Pandharpatte.
Some proportion of land has already been acquired for this project yet rest of the land will be acquired as per the new laws. Land holders will receive the compensation as per new rules, he said.
Three complains registered on Democracy Day
On 3rd March, Democracy Day, three complains, one about public construction department, one about electricity distribution department and one in regards to the District office, were registered. These issues will be resolved within a month, he said.
12 proposals to prevent water shortage are received from Vaibhavwadi taluka, some flaws are found in two of them. Hence, 10 proposals are approved. We will be immediately approving proposals that come to us regarding water shortage, the District Officer informed.
He also informed that some errors are found in the execution of food security scheme in the district but we will over come it and make sure that the scheme reaches all the beneficiaries.
