Land measuring process starts for Sea World Project
Land measuring campaign for project ‘Sea World’ was peacefully conducted on Thursday
Aachra: A collective land measuring campaign as part of land acquisition process of government’s most talked about project ‘Sea World’ at Vayangani Tondwali, was peacefully conducted on Thursday morning in the presence of Regional Officer Tushar Mathkar in a tight police security.
The project aims to boom the economy of the district through tourism. The government had given all the information to villagers by arranging the project presentation at Tondwali. The Land Record Department had issued notice to inform about land measuring process to be conducted on 28th November. But resident Dilip Mule along with 39 other villagers moved District Court and filed petition to put ‘stay’ on the process.
However, Court overruled the petition and eased the way for government. At the time of land measuring Ravindra Bomble, Regional Officer of Kudal; Vitthal Jadhav, Sub-Divisional Police Officer and Tahsildar Patil were also present.
