Etna: Lava spews from the South East Crater of Mt. Etna during an eruption, in Sicily, southern Italy, early Monday, Dec. 30, 2013. Mt. Etna, Europe’s most active volcano at 3,350 meters (10,990 feet) erupts quite frequently, the last eruption occurred a couple of weeks ago, causing no damages.
