Maharashtra consider Sindhudurg as development model
We are contesting this election on the issue of development and striving hard to transform lives of people here, said Rane
Kankavali: The Member of Parliament for Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg constituency Dr Nilesh Rane will win this election one sided for Congress. Deposit paid by Shiv Sena candidate will be seized. Voter from every religion, cast and political party will vote for Dr Nilesh Rane because Konkan needs him as a leader. Only Congress is required for development of Konkani people. We are contesting this election on the issue of development and striving hard to transform lives of people here.
Maharashtra consider Sindhudurg as a development model which itself is a big achievement. Whereas, opposition has no development issues to talk about hence personal hatred and envy has become their only agenda for campaigning, alleged the Minister of Industries Narayan Rane.
He was addressing Press in Sindhudurg at a conference ahead of Lok Sabha elections. The Member of Parliament Dr Nilesh Rane, President of District Bank Rajan Teli, Kaka Kudalkar and Sunil Nirwadekar were also present at the press conference.
We don’t need to answer our opponents. People in both the districts have seen our developmental works so they will answer our opponents through ballet box. Everyone is aware about condition of roads and highways and their reformation during last 25 years. Such higher quality development work cannot be seen anywhere else in the State.
We completed 40 important bridges along with small overpasses to connect talukas, villages, schools and hospitals. Advanced hospitals with capacity of more than 700 beds were established. Dr Rane from his MP fund started a hospital with 100 beds at Oros. This development on health and hygiene level holds importance in the development of state.
I have knitted a network of educational institutes with English medium schools in every village, ITI, polytechnic college at Malvan, Horticulture College at Kudal, dairy college at Kankavali, agricultural college and engineering college, proposed medical college at Kasal, Don Bosco, and Ursula English School during last 24 years. Could opponents do anything of it? questioned Rane.
He also raised questions over opposition’s study of the region, any strategies if they have drawn and if they know the issues of cultivators and fishermen. They don’t even bother to know what is per capital income and GDP of this region, he said.
He further added that we established mango and cashew board. In an attempt to increase cultivators’ revenue we started horticulture college in Vengurle and Kudal. This is the reason that the development model Sindhudurg competes with Sangli, Satara and progress economically.
We are Rs 1000 ahead of Sangali in per capita income. The land rates are raised up to Rs 40 lakh, per acre rates in Ratnagiri have increased because these districts are developing. But Shiv Sena won’t see this work as they are suffering from political jaundice, said the Minister of Industries.
Four-laning of highway completed
We are in talks with Konkan Railway directors to add another track on Konkan railway route so that two trains can run at a time on this way.
People in Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg are aware of all the developmental issues raised and completed by us. I have always tried to bring side businesses in Konkan. I am sure that as a token of acknowledgement to my hard work, people in Konkan will elect me in upcoming elections, said Dr Nilesh Rane.
Dr Rane to submit candidature on 25th March
The Member of Parliament Dr Nilesh Rane will submit his application as a Congress candidate on 25th March. Congress is all set for upcoming Lok Sabha elections. We don’t need to campaign much because I have constantly undertaken work, development and public welfare of Konkan along with Dr Nilesh Rane, Nitesh Rane, Satish Sawant, Rajan Teli and other workers. Our work promotes us enough.
Our candidate Dr Nilesh Rane will start campaigning soon though people here doesn’t really need it, I am sure that they will vote for him. People have seen our efforts to transform this region for development. So we are quite sure about their votes, believed the Minister of industries Narayan Rane.
