Mumbai: A fresh duo of Dagadu and Prajakta has swirled the love winds in Marathi audience. The film, ‘Timepass’, released on 3rd January, has made a whopping business of Rs 5 crore with advanced bookings over a weekend of release.
The dialogues of this film were fast popular even before the release and were hot posts on Facebook and Whatsapp. Ravi Jadhav directed ‘Timepass’ saw the ‘houseful’ boards at many theatres on the day of release. It is currently being screened at 250 theatres across the State with record-break 5000 shows every day.
The film has earned Rs 5 crore revenue including Sunday advanced bookings and hoping for Rs 10 crore business in a week, informed Producer. Ketaki Mategaonkar and Prathamesh Parab are leading starcast of ‘Timepass’.
The Marathi film industry had witnessed huge success with the film ‘Duniyadari’ some months back but ‘Timepass’ has broken ‘Duniyadari’s records too.
