The temperature is decreasing by each day because of the northern winds’ effect. On Sunday the minimum temperature of Mumbai was decreased by two degree Celsius.
The chilly winter has compelled Mumbaikars to wear the sweaters, mufflers and hand gloves. Talking with Prahaar, V K Rajiv, Director, Regional Meteorological Department Mumbai, said, “As Mumbai is situated on the seashore, there would not be a more decrease in temperature. But the ups and downs can be observed in the next couple of days,” he said.
Meanwhile, chilly winter will be stable in Central Maharashtra and Vidarbha region. The mercury has already gone below 10 degree Celsius at Nashik and Pune.
