Maha: Girls outshine boys in class 10th exams
Pune: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education of Class 10th SSC result 2015 is declared on monday.
A pass percentage of 91.46, considered the best so far, was registered in Maharashtra in the results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) tenth standard examination.
In what has now become a customary practise, girls outshone boys posting an overall pass percentage of 92.94 as against 90.18 per cent registered by successful boys.
Division-wise, Konkan topped the list with 96.54 per cent with Latur division was at the bottom with 86.38 per cent, chairman of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Gangadhar Mahmane said while announcing the results.
The pass percentage of nine divisions — Konkan 96.54, Nashik, 92.16, Mumbai 92.90, Pune 95.10, Kolhapur 95.12, Nagpur 87.01, Amaravati 86.84, Aurangabad 90.57 and Latur 86.38.
In MSBSHSE lakhs of student had appeared for the exam in the month of march 2015.
To get the result through SMS, BSNL users can send MHHSC to 57766. Junior colleges will distribute the marksheets to the students on June 15 at 3pm.
The Maharashtra Board had announced the HSC 2015 result on May 27.
