‘Natraj Mahotsav’ starts in Ratnagiri from today
The ‘Natraj Mahotsav’ is organized by ‘Swabhiman’ organization and Ratnagiri District Youth Congress to present platform to the talent of students and spread awareness about art and culture of Konkan
Ratnagiri: The ‘Natraj Mahotsav’ is organized by ‘Swabhiman’ organization and Ratnagiri District Youth Congress to present platform to the talent of students and spread awareness about art and culture of Konkan, under the leadership of MP Dr Nilesh Rane. A two days festival which starts today will include Solo and Group Dance competitions. On the last days special program ‘Ek Maati Anek Naati’ – One Soil Many Relations, which is an amalgamation of Marathi folk dance and songs, will be presented, informed Bunty Wanuj, President of Vidhan Sabha Constituency, Youth Congress.
The event will take place at Late Pramod Mahajan Sports Complex. ‘Swabhiman’ organization always strives to provide guidance to the students including UPSC-MPSC students, sportsmen and medical help to needy people; this festival is organized to highlight the talent of students in Ratnagiri.
A Solo Dance Competition will be held on 30th January and Group Dance on 31st January at 6 pm. Program ‘Ek Maati Anek Naati’ will be presented on 1st February when famous Marathi celebrities like singer Arya Ambekar, Madhura Kumbhar and Adarsh Shinde along with anchor Dr Nilesh Sable will be present. Prizes will be distributed at this occasion.
The Minister of Industries Narayan Rane, MP Dr Nilesh Rane and the Founder of ‘Swabhiman’ organization Nitesh Rane will attend the closing ceremony of this program.
