Need lasting efforts for women empowerment: Nitesh Rane


Swabhiman’s 8th anniversary celebrations, Women’s job fair grabs huge crowd

RojgarMumbai: Addressing the audience in Swabhiamn’s 8th anniversary at Saint Mery highschool ground at Parel, Swabhiman Sanghatana chief Nitesh Rane said that women empowerment was impossible only by verbal efforts. He reiterated that if women power is strengthened and preferred in work, their contribution will strengthen the growth.

Rane said, “Swabhiman’s first women job fair is a first active step towards women empowerment. All should take such efforts. The real empowerment is only possible by practical efforts for all 365 days of the year,” he said.

Many participants in the job fair expressed happiness and satisfaction during the fair. He said, “Our objective is getting successful for those women who could not take education due to their circumstances, those who could not get job due to their education along with those women who are jobless after having graduate degree.

He further said, “Independence day is celebrated on 15th August every year. We only offer garlands on birth anniversaries of Shivaji Maharaj’s and Mahatma Gandhi’s photos. The same practice is carried for women empowerment. Only verbal service will not empower women when women are harassed. In fact women empowerment is a 365 days’ task for the society. Thus Swabhiman is taking efforts in strengthening women.”

After the start of the job fair, Nandita Nitesh Rane and Nitesh Rane lighted the lamp and inaugurated the program. During the program Nandita Rane was felicitated by Swabhiman’s women wing’s contact head Kavita Lad, Sharada Janvalkar, Manisha Singh, Shaheen Shaikh, Aruna Nayyar and Smita Sanas.

In the first half of the fair, Nitesh Rane and Nandita Rane handed the joining letters to the selected candidates. Swabhiman’s senior members Nitin Varnarayan, Sunil Palan, Mehul Joshi and Mumbai secretary  Sachin Malkar along with Swabhiman students win head Prathamesh Kolambkar greeted Nitesh Rane with flowers at the occasion.

Congress MLA Kalidas Kolambkar, Congress corporator Sunil More, Ex-corporator Suvarna Karanje, Neelam Dolas Congress activists Rajesh Hatle, Ritesh Sawant, Alpesh Parab and others congratulated Nitesh Rane Swabhiman’s 8th anniversary.
