Nitesh Rane to contest legislative elections
The Founder-President of ‘Swabhimaan’, Nitesh Rane will be the candidate in upcoming legislative elections, announced the Minister of Industries Narayan Rane in Pune.
Pune: The Minister of Industries, Narayan Rane greeted Punekars for Diwali and said, “Blessings from the people of Pune are always fruitful, and so I am in Pune for them.” He announced on the occasion about Swabhimaan’s Founder-President Nitesh Rane’s candidacy in upcoming legislative elections.
Lokmanya Tilak Pratishthan in Pune had organized ‘Lokmanya Diwali Mahotsav’ in the campus of Shanivar Wada from 25th to 29th October. Rane was present at the closing ceremony of the festival. Along with him Rohit Tilak, the President of Lokmanya Tilak Pratishthan; Deepak Tilak, the Trustee of Kesari; Abhay Chhajed, President of Pune City Congress Committee; Sharad Ranpise; Ankush Kakade, President of MHADA and Dr Satish Desai were also present.
Rane was speaking to reporters during question-answer session. We will declare our Pune candidate for General elections at the right time. He will undoubtedly be better than the candidates of other parties. Pune’s seat will remain with Congress only; we will not leave our hold on it. But the distribution of places will be decided by high command only, he said.
Lokmanya Tilak brought the concept of public celebration of Ganesh Festival. Rohit Tilak is also setting trend by bringing together people of all casts and creeds to celebrate Diwali. This ‘Mahotsav’ had done a noble work of bringing people from all the stratums of society and made their Diwali happier, he appreciated.
