‘Prahaar Bhushan’ is an inspirational initiative

I would suggest that they should felicitate a personality from ‘Politics’ stream as well, I know it will be a difficult task to select a perfect candidate for it but still it can be taken on, said Dilip Walse Patil, the Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and a Chief Guest for ‘Prahaar Bhushan’ on the award nights.
He said that there are good things happening around the world. ‘Prahaar’ selected few of them to felicitates which will ultimately inspire others . The Minister of Industries Narayan Rane is a commendable leader. He is capable and courageous. He has invited me as a Chief Guest to this function out of love and affection.
‘Prahaar’, a daily Marathi newspaper which is keen on its social responsibilities and practices journalism with social sensitivity, appreciated the talents in various fields on Sunday in an extravagant event organized at Bandra-Kurla Complex, at the hands of dignitaries from various fields.
An event had a traditional start with Ganesh Vandana followed by presentation of award to Sachin Teke, a 25 year youth who invented one of the most useful mobile applications ‘M-indicatior’; the veteran actor Mohan Joshi presented him ‘Prahaar Bhushan’ award.
The Dombivali cricketer Ajinkya Rahane who has made his place in playing 11s of India with his dedication and technique was also awarded. His father Madhukar Rahane received the award from former Test Umpire Madhav Gothoskar on his behalf. Gothoskar also presented awards to Marathon runners Puja and Priyanka Bhopi.
India’s first Firewoman Harshini Kanhekar was presented award at the hands of Priyankaraje Nilesh Rane and Nandini Nitesh Rane. While Nilamtai Narayan Rane presented award to a Public Administrative Officer Ashwini Joshi.
A backstage artist of Damodar Hall, Rajan Tirawadekar who belongs to Tondalvali in Malwan was appreciated with an award presented by renowned Director Ravi Jadhav and actor Vijay Patkar.
The glam doll of Marathi Film Industry Sayee Tamhankar was presented award by director Girish Mohite and the Editor of Prahaar Mahesh Mhatre.
‘Prahaar’ always motivates good work
‘Prahaar’ not only practices fair and courageous journalism but also appreciate and motivate those doing well at their work. ‘Prahaar’ will keep inspiring them to do better in future by appreciating their efforts through ‘Prahaar Bhushan’, believes the Minister of Industries and Consulting Editor of Prahaar, Narayan Rane.
‘Prahaar’ has always reacted affirmatively to development projects of the State. ‘Prahaar Bhushan’ was launched last year with an objective to find and inspire those who have taken the path of right and excellence in their work.
Name of the Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Dilip Walse Patil came to my mind when we were deciding a Chief Guest for this evening. I am thankful to him for accepting the invitation immediately, he said. Rane also appreciated all the winners.
