‘Prahaar’ celebrates International Women’s Day
‘Prahaar’ celebrated International Women’s Day here in their office in the presence of women icons
Mumbai: ‘Prahaar’, one of the leading daily Marathi Newspapers, celebrated International Women’s Day here in their office located at One Indiabulls Center, Parel in the presence of women icons, Meenal Baghel who serves as an Editor-in-Chief for Mumbai’s most popular tabloid newspaper ‘Mumbai Mirror’, President of Jijaai Womens’ Foundation Nilamtai Rane, Dubbing artist Prachi Save and an amazing instrumentalist who plays 25 instruments Pratiksha Chindarkar.
It was 3rd consecutive year of Women’s Day celebration at Prahaar, the concept was originated by Editor Mahesh Mhatre.
The event was more than mere a celebration when Baghel shared her experiences of being ‘lady boss’ in the industry predominately headed by men. She guided all the female employees present there that we must follow gender neutrality ourselves to succeed in any stream to be a leader and we should never count ourselves different from men.
Also, Nilamtai Rane shared her experiences of working in different parts of Konkan and narrated the transformation in lives of women there from the time she visited the place first for election campaign till now.
Prachi Save amused the attendees with her voice modulations and recommended all the ladies to take out ‘Me’ time from their busy schedules when they can follow their hobbies and be at themselves.
Event was concluded with the tunes of Prajatka’s magical instruments where she performed instruments like Pakkhwaj, Guitar, Dholki, Dholak, Sambal and Tabla.
The International Women’s Day will be celebrated worldwide tomorrow on 8th March. ‘Prahaar’ will be publishing a special supplement ‘Maza Aakash’ to feature women who have attempt different paths and those who are still away from the limelight.
