Prahaar’s ‘Smart’ gift to Marathi readers on Makar Sankranti’s eve!
Today Prahaar launched its ‘Prahaar Smart Keys’ software in the hands of Prahaar’s consulting editor and Industry Minister Narayan Rane
Mumbai: Though the use of computerized technology is spread in the society, it is maximally used in English language. Because of the technological constraints, many of Marathi computer users face constraints as they cannot write in Marathi on their computers easily.
Considering this, Prahaar has come up with a ‘Smart’ gift to its readers on the eve of Makar Sankranti. Today Prahaar launched its ‘Prahaar Smart Keys’ software in the hands of Prahaar’s Consulting Editor and Industry Minister Narayan Rane.
‘Prahaar Smart Keys’ is easy and simple in use and one can easily go for it for Marathi typing along two keyboards (Inscript and phonetic) with two Marathi Unicode fonts. It is for the first time in Marathi language that the software has offered an offline predictive typing. The software can be run on all the Windows operating systems easily. It also offers Marathi dictionary in it.
Prahaar has developed the software in collaboration with Thane based IT firm Smart Solutions.
Neelamtai Rane, Youth leader and Swabhiman Saghatana chief Nitesh Rane, Prahaar’s Editor Mahesh Mhatre, Manager Manish Rane and Smart Solutions’ Shridhar Madurai and Shridhar Mysore and other dignitaries were present at the software’s launching program.
Now Marathi typing on computer will be easier just like typing in English with the help of Prahaar Smart Keys.
