“Seeking another chance to serve this region”: Dr Rane
I seek another opportunity from you to serve Sindhudurg, appealed the Congress-NCP candidate for Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg constituency, Dr Nilesh Rane
Parule: The upcoming Lok Sabha elections are most important for the future of this nation. Congress re-nominated me from this region after considering my efforts for development of Konkan during last five years. There is only Rane factor in Konkan and no Modi wave could reach here. Hence, I seek another opportunity from you to serve Sindhudurg, appealed the Congress-NCP candidate for Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg constituency, Dr Nilesh Rane at a public meeting organized at Parule.
A a part of the election campaign, meeting with party workers and supporters was organized at Bhakti Mangal Hall in Parule Kushewada where former MLA Rajan Teli, District President Satish Sawant, District Woman President Pradnya Parab, taluka President Sujata Desai, ZP member Vandana Kinalekar, party inspector Vikas Kudalkar, Congress taluka President Manish Dalvi, District Secretary Vasant tandel along with other party workers and women supporters were present in a large number.
While addressing the audience Dr Rane said that when I went in the Parliament House for the first time I was clueless about which issues to raise. I could get the answer only when I realized that a senior leader like Suresh Prabhu has not done anything for Konkan during his tenure. Then I studied all the prolonged development issues in this region and started raising one by one question in the House. This helped me to bring required funds from Center to undertake development works here. Hence, I can rightfully ask for your blessings once again.
He added that my father Narayan Rane loves this region as much as his own family. So, only Rane factor runs here and no Modi factor can ever enter here.
Former MLA Rajan Teli appreciated Congress for nominating well educated candidate from Konkan who is sensitive towards people’s issues as well. He said Dr Rane has brought funds of crores in this region for development. Hence, don’t fall for false promises of opponents and elect Dr Rane with huge margin, he appealed. While, Satish Sawant asked audience to ensure at least 80 per cent voting from this region.
