Student scoring 35 marks in all papers gets bicycle from Tawde
Mumbai: Maharashtra Education Minister Vinod Tawde has presented a bicycle to a 15-year-old student who scored exactly 35 marks, the minimum pass percentage, in all six SSC papers.
“Back in my school days it was said that scoring exactly 35 per cent gets a cycle from the government. So I have sent a cycle to Indrajeet More of Kolhapur,” Tawde said today.
Tawde had said he would present the bicycle soon after the SSC results were declared.
Indrajeet More, a district-level Kabaddi player from a small village in Shirol taluka of Kolhapur, scored exactly 35 per cent in every single subject for Class 10th (SSC) examination.
He is being congratulated on the social media.
His father, Vasant, who works in the water department of Sangli Miraj Kupwad Municipal Corporation, said that he feels very happy for his son.
