Students’ march for ‘Saving the Girl Child’ in Neral

The issue of female foeticide has become sensitive in the parts of the country. Thus the students decided to make the citizens aware about the issue so that people could avoid such practices in the society. The march started from the school and visited Shivaji square, Ambika Naka, Hanuman Mandir and ended at Shivaji square via Mahavir Peth. Suresh Tokare, Ex -sarpanch Ayub Tamboli, Sudhakar Desai, social activist Seema Garud, Lalita Sawalgi, Priya Gawade, Nirmala Surve and other dignitaries along with Neral sarpanch Bhagwan Chanche welcomed the march in Shivaji square.
Parents of the students also participated in the program.
