The regular arrival and departure of the buses started from last Saturday and it stood as a cool breeze to the ST passengers. The recent sugarcane fair price hike agitation hit the state transport bus service badly. The agitators targeted the ST buses and hence the buses were made to halt in the adjacent bus stands during the agitation.
It is reported that around five buses going to Kolhapur, Sangali, Solapur, Tuljapur and Pandharpur are sent on daily basis from the Rajapur bus depot and same number of buses return to the depot.
