Swabhiman shocks MSEDCL in Ambarnath

The electricity distributing company’s Ambarnath unit is infamous for its irregular and excessive electricity bills to its consumers. Thousands of Swabhiman Sanghatana’s activists gathered along with the citizens and had a protest march against the irregular and excessive bills and company employees’ misbehavior.
Ambarnath unit of the MSEDCL was sending excessive amount of bills than the actual usage to its consumers and unable to pay the huge amounts, the consumers felt trapped in the situation as their electricity supply was cut down from the company’s employees.
The situation became frustrating when the company employee behaved rudely with the consumers. Swabhiman Sanghatana district chief Rohit Salve, Ambarnath city convener Vikas Hemraj Someshwar, Repan Shinde were receiving such complaints. The company officials were requested in an application to look into the matter and solve the consumers’ problem. But no action was taken into the matter. At last on Friday Swabhiman Sanghatana organized a protest rally against the misdoings of the electricity company.
The protest rally started from Ambarnath Police Station in which City Communication in-charge Rahul Pawar, Anand Deshmukh, Chief Convener Vijay Gaikwad, Vishal Sonawane, Prashant Chandanshive, Deputy Convener Shashank Ghogare, Nitin Gangurde along with other activists and citizens were participated.
The protest rally reached the MSEDCL office gate where the key organizers met Deputy Executive Engineer Borkar and discussed the matter.
Sabhiman City Convener Hemraj Someshwar, Repan Shinde informed that the company has assured to solve the problem in next 15 days. The Swabhiman Sanghatana has indicated a strong march against the company is the pleas were not solved in the mentioned time by the company.
