Train Romeo gets first hand shock from Konkani girl!

The youth was trying to convince her to smoke the cigarette in which he had added the drugs from two pockets

KOKAN-RAILThane: In a strong courage exhibition, a young girl traveling on Matsyagandha express took the Train Romeo to the police.

A shocking thing came into light when she did not get much help from Ratnagiri and Chiplun police when the girl contacted them hence the Thane railway police registered the complaint.

The girl, a third year student of fashion designing course, went for a program to Kudal, organized by Jivan Vidya Mission on 14th December.

She caught the Matsyagandha Express around 11:30 pm to get back to Mumbai. She was along with some religious followers.  When she went for recharging her mobile, Abdul Kadar Saheb, age 28, came near to her and asked her whether she smoked. Then he put some drugs from two packets in the cigarettes. He also tried to convince her by saying that nobody would come to know if the cigarette was smoked in the train toilet.

When she got the notion that the youth was in drugs selling business, she called Mumbai Railway police force from her mobile. Then a constable told her that she had to get down from the train at Ratnagiri. It was 1 AM. She refused to leave the train. Still the police did not take any action.

She still kept on trying. Chiplun police too did not respond effectively. Meanwhile the youth disappeared. Then this brave heart saw the Ticket Checker. She told the whole incident to him and he nabbed the youth.

At last the railway police gave her police protection and arrested the youth at Panvel railway station.
