Mumbai: Total 111 houses built at picturesque Vengurle will be included in a MHADA lottery to be declared in May. Three buildings of three floors contain houses for high, medium and low income groups. The cost of low income houses will be starting from Rs 20 lakh.
Construction of these buildings located close to the Mango-Cashew Research Centre is completed though MHADA Konkan Mandal is trying for a permission to build another floor. The flats in low income group will be 300 sq ft, medium income group 600 sq ft and high income group will be 1100 sq ft, informed a MHADA official.
This year MHADA will open a lottery for total 2785 flats including 1808 flats of Konkan Mandal at Virar-Bolinz, 111 at Vengurle and 876 flats of Mumbai Mandal. The advertisement for these flats will be published on 24th and 25th February. MHADA is hopeful about great response to the flats in Konkan like Mumbai, said an officer.
