Villagers initiates Smart Digital School in Shahapur

Shahapur: A Zila Parishad (ZP) school in Nevre Village of Shahapur installed digital instruments for better teaching and learning with the objective to make the process more interesting, to make it advanced, to encourage talents and curious minds of students.
The teachers and villagers of Nevre village have installed such technological instruments in the ZP school by which students can experience entire world even from this remote area. Their cooperative drive could make it possible.
Total 77 students learn in this school from 1st to 4th standards; amongst them 53 are from Tribal Katkari society, 13 from Warli society and 11 from other backward casts. Their financial conditions are worsened and they have no connection with the outer world.
When noticed this situation some promising teachers of this school, Sanjay Shete, Mahesh Tarmale, Head of Center Baalkrushna Bangar, Mahendra Dhimate, members of school committee and villagers spent from their own pockets and arranged 101 inch Smartboard screen worth Rs 65000, Projector costing Rs 35000 and total set up of Rs 1.25 lakh including Computers and Inverters. It is an attempt to ease studies of these students. Hence, the teachers of this school believe that the students will not only become smart in future but raise the reputation of this school as well.
