Why didn’t Modi appoint Lokpal in Gujarat? asks Narayan Rane
Why Narendra Modi, who throws allegations of corruption on Congress, didn’t appoint Lokpal during last 11 years in Gujarat?, asked Narayan Rane
Mumbai: We are contesting this Lok Sabha election on development issues but opponents have no such issue and hence they are just criticizing. Why Narendra Modi, who throws allegations of corruption on Congress, didn’t appoint Lokpal during last 11 years in Gujarat?, asked the Maharashtra Industries Minister Narayan Rane.
He knocked opponents while speaking at a public meeting organized at Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai for Congress and NCP’s Lok Sabha candidates.
Narendra Modi dreams to become Prime Minister by showcasing false image of Gujarat’s development but I have exposed his real face in many of my earlier speeches. Gujarat lags behind in 12 sectors including education, health, gross income, investments etc but Modi keep lying prudently, Rane said.
He further raised the questions that if Modi is so keen to make this nation corruption-free why he didn’t appoint Lokpal for 11 years? When Governor appointed Lokpal, why did he appeal in court to bring stay on it? Why did he spend Rs 45 crore on it? He did it with the motive to safeguard corrupt practices there. Does the one who is reluctant to appoint Lokpal has any rights to speak about corruption? Rane asked.
Mocking at Shivsena’s advertisement stating ‘Send the tigers of Sena to Delhi’ he said, No tigers are left in Shivsena now, all they have are cats that keep meowing anywhere now. Have they raised any developmental issue for Marathi people during last 45 years? They didn’t, they didn’t make any efforts to prosper Marathi people. They just have three emotional appeals, ‘we will never let Mumbai separate from Maharashtra, we will conserve our religion and we will fight for Marathi people’s justice’. If Sena had really fought for Marathi people’s justice, they would have never left Mumbai. They have just deserted this city despite having control over BMC. Therefore, to make Mumbai a world standard, ideal city elect only the candidates of Congress-NCP, Rane appealed.
